Logisyn Acts as Strategic Advisor for WWIL in Sale to Manitoulin
World Wide International Logistics (WWIL) is a Chicago based, freight forwarding and customs brokerage company and Logisyn is pleased to have represented them in this sell-side transaction. Manitoulin Group Forwarding, a global solutions provider in Canada, acquired the company on November 30, 2020 and the exact terms of the deal are not available to the public. This is a mutually strategic acquisition as it allows WWIL to expand their client services, while also increasing Manitoulin’s customer base in the U.S.
WWIL President, Paul Cincinello comments, “When WWIL decided it was best to have a strategic alliance partner as all of our competitors were consolidating, we reached out to Logisyn. The Logisyn team was amazing, walking you through unfamiliar territory and preparing you for the requirements, so you can still simultaneously run your business. They managed the expectations phenomenally and anyone in the logistics industry shouldn’t consider any other firm than Logisyn’s experienced talent.”
Per Cris Arens, Managing Partner of Logisyn, “Paul built a very successful and profitable Customs House Broker and Freight Forwarder in Chicago. That is a space where we have decades of experience. When he engaged Logisyn to find a potential buyer, it was with instructions to find a good home for his long-term customers and employees. Manitoulin seems to be the perfect fit.”
